EUFest – Celebrating the EU through Teaching and Learning
A European project supporting teachers, trainers, schools and VET institutions with innovative tools, training and resources to teach European Union topics in engaging and practical ways.

What is EUFest?
EUFest is a Jean Monnet project that brings together four schools and four teacher-training institutions from Portugal, Spain, Croatia and Türkiye.
The project aims to strengthen EU-related education by equipping educators with the knowledge, pedagogical tools and collaborative opportunities needed to teach about the European Union more effectively.

Our Objetives

Improve EU literacy among teachers and trainers
| EUFest supports educators with training on EU institutions, policies, values and democratic processes so they can teach EU topics with greater confidence and clarity. |

Develop innovative teaching and learning methods
The project creates practical tools such as the Jean Monnet Teacher Training, the EUFest Plan, the Pedagogical Guide and the Video Manual to make EU education more interactive, accessible and engaging.

Bring the EU closer to students
EUFest promotes debates, simulations, collaborative activities and participatory learning experiences that help students understand how the EU affects their lives and how they can engage as active citizens.
EUFest Matters
Although the European Union has a strong impact on everyday life, many students and educators still lack structured opportunities to learn about EU institutions, policies, values and decision-making processes. EUFest responds to this challenge by creating practical, accessible and innovative learning resources that help schools and VET providers integrate EU topics into teaching and school life.
